Principle Programmer

Ryan Rickerts has been designing websites since 2000. He graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics/Computer Science from Western Washington University in June 2005 and obtained an additional 1-year certificate in Web Design & Development in 2006.

His passion for the internet is based on its accessibility for everyone. He believes in the progress of web standards organizations to cement this characteristic and encourages compliance from the developers of software, languages, and websites.

To further this mission, Ryan has acquired experience in a variety of languages, platforms, and frameworks, such as Ruby, Rails, Unix, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, ECMAScript, as well as proprietary technologies such as Cocoa/Objective-C from Apple, and ASP.NET/C#/SQL Server from Microsoft.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys helping his daughter Quincy learn to walk, riding his bicycle on roads and trails, and jogging with his Australian Shepard named Bandit. His family blog is located at www.meettherickerts.com.

Principle Designer

Susie Rickerts has been exercising her creative talent her entire life through painting, drawing, and crafting.

She obtained a B.A. degree in Fine Arts from WWU with an emphasis on Fibers & Fabrics in 2004.

Susie also works in sales and marketing for a major manufacturer of a health & fitness product.

Her emphasis in the development of websites is an appealing design, a balance of color & typography, and an intuitive user experience.
